1988 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe (305 Miles)
Possibly the 2nd lowest-mileage 1988 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe Fox Body in existence. We also have another example that is Medium Silver Metallic with 111 miles that is available.
Both were owned by the same individual who bought various different cars, new from the dealer, and stored them away in a Houston area warehouse with blankets covering them. This particular car was bought from Niles Ford-Lincoln-Mercury in Niles, MI. It comes with its original sticker that has never been taken off.
Both cars are time-capsules that also come with the original dealer paperwork, manuals, and extra set of keys. From the condition of the cars you would think they were delivered yesterday and not 35 years ago. They still smell new.
As for the equipment, this Turbo Coupe is loaded with most all the options. Is has the 2.3 Turbo Engine, 5-Speed Manual Transmission, Power Everything, The Preferred Equipment PKG 157, Automatic Ride Control with Normal and Firm Suspension selector, Articulated Sport Leather Seats with Power Lumbar Support, Dual Exhaust and much more.
When we purchased these vehicles, the cars had not run since they were delivered in the summer of 1988. With very little maintenance needed, we carefully started the vehicles and to our great surprise both started and ran from the get go. Most all of the operations worked to perfection except for the AC's had lost the charges.
These cars need to be seen to believed and take you directly back to the 1988. We encourage anyone with interest to come visit us anytime.
