Not For Sale. Frank's family heirloom. Frank bought Charlie Camaro brand new in El Paso| TX. He and his partners didn't even drive it one mile before they took the motor out and made it a race car. He and his partners Bobby Haley and Chip Dumont raced the car all over the Southwest United States during the late 60's. They won all kinds of races and had all kinds of fun with Charlie Camaro. Sometime around the early 1970 Frank met his wife Barbara| and racing wasn't going to pay the bills| so he let the car go. He had always wanted the car back| but had lost track of it. In 2010| he was talking to his old partner and friend Bobby| who looked through some old papers and found the VIN to the car. Frank took it from there| looking for the car by any means necessary. He soon found it not far away in Dallas. He contacted the owners and was off to take a look at it. The car was in rough shape but still had parts they had put on it 40 years earlier. After some tough negotiations| Frank got his car back. Once it was in Houston he restored it to it to its racing glory| even going so far to fly-in a painter from California to do the gold leaf lettering. Here is the result of all the hard work.
